For those who like John Kerry...

John Kerry spoke to students at Pasadena City College in California on Monday. He made some Bush jokes, as is custom for politicians from either party to make jabs at the other party. He also spoke to the students about the importance of getting an education. I promise you that the following quotes are not mis-quoted or false at all. Nor are they taken out of context. These were Kerry's words as they came out of his mouth.

"You know, education -- if you make the most of it, you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Wow! What an embarrasment this man was to our country and to his fellow democrats. I feel so sorry for anyone who likes him today.

This picture comes from Iraq with some American soldiers holding this sign...

Waiting

Here I am, God. Sitting here wondering...For so long now I've wanted resolve. But I am waiting.

So much about life seems as if it's a waiting game. If it isn't standing in line at the store, it's waiting to use the bathroom. If it isn't waiting in traffic or at a stoplight, it's waiting to get my food. If it isn't waiting to hear a response, it's waiting to listen.

If it isn't waiting to know my future, it's wondering what will happen today.

God, what will happen today? What will happen tomorrow?

But here's the deal...none of this really matters. God already did in me enough that I can wait...I deserve to wait...

I waited patiently for the Lord
He inclined and heard my cry
He brought me up out of the pit
Out of the miry clay

I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song
How long to sing this song?
How long to sing this song?
How long...how long...how long...How long...to sing this song

He set my feet upon a rock
And made my footsteps firm
Many will see
Many will see and fear

I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song
How long to sing this song?
How long to sing this song?
How long...how long...how long...
